An Unbelievable Yarn: Part 1

There is an Almighty God from whom all is made. Jesus is there unique son of God. Salvation is only possible because of him.

There was a heavenly council of 'elohim' which is simply a spiritual figure. To humanity, they would be a 'god'. They have no power other than what is given.

The modern concept of Satan is extremely incomplete and over simplified. Who we would think of as "Satan", the ultimate overlord of evil, is likely Shemyaza, so I use that as a frame of reference only.

Don't worry the details yet. Listen to the story.

Shemyaza was the firstborn and was closest to God. He had been given  ultimate authority over the entire earth and it's creatures.

At that time, there was a "heavenly council" made up of the "children of heaven" (we would today identify as angels and demons). They were responsible for accomplishing the vision of God, there Almighty, the Creator. They oversaw all within the earth.

It was a sudden, rude and unwelcome surprise when the Almighty took the land allocated to him and suddenly placed a new creation of his own. On Shemyaza's territory. Without asking. And it was a hybrid that shouldn't exist. A human with an eternal spirit.

You see, Shemyaza and his associates had forgotten the Creator and sustainer of all. In administering and ordering the creation they had been given; they forgot who was ultimately worthy of praise.

Understanding that the Creator had blended the spiritual with physical; Shemyaza went to his fellow Watchers and discussed what had happened.
The Creator intended to intrude into Shemyaza's territory, and even worse, to allow a human voice on the heavenly council.

The Watchers, now convinced that the Almighty had flipped his lid, conspired to sever humanity's relationship with the Almighty and remove their seat on the heavenly council.

The first attempt of the Creator was foiled when Lilith was convinced to leave her position in the relationship; such as the Watchers had done themselves. When Lilith refused to submit, there would be no humans to deal with.

But the Almighty was surprisingly persistent and created Adam & Eve, who were to be the eternal representative of God among humanity. The temptation of having knowledge to be like gods was already there. What the Watchers had dinner to themselves, they did to man kind.

Through deceit and envy, man threw himself down from his place of honor. They were banished out of the garden and forced to live among the peoples already living in the earth. And they had sons and daughters who married anime the people.

Even as the Watchers removed at their success, a kernel of doubt gnawed the fringes of Shemyaza's thoughts because he didn't understand the full beauty of the Creator's vision.

Trying to overthrow the Creator's plan  set in motion his own undoing; guess ultimate fall from power by eliminating his most weapon: death.

Seeing through Adam & Eve that humans could bear them children also, the Watchers began to plan amongst themselves. They took young and beautiful wives for themselves. They discarded their spiritual body for a physical one. They had inner goal: create their own children and races who would serve them and destroy the Almighty's pathetic people.

Then the Creator will see that these beings cannot be trusted and are inferior. They do not belong in the heavenly council. So they left their place in heaven and took on human bodies and lived in the earth as men do, though they were above all men.

Each had his own specialty and they established kingdoms across a wide area. And their wives bore them children. The offspring of the Watchers is referred to as Nephilim.

(Forget what you think you've heard. It's a frame of reference for now. Listen to the story).

* * *
There are traces of forgotten tribal peoples with an average height well above our own today. One of these was a group of the sea people's invasion of the middle east around 1500 BC. The Philistines were Phoenician. They are believed to be sea people. Goliath was a Philistine. The Amorites also were said to be descendents of Nephilim and thus were to be wiped out.

* * *

It was this rebellion and sin which completely doomed the earth and sealed the eternal fate of the Watchers. Their Nephilim children were violent and greedy and consumed everything in their path. They had no loyalty but to themselves and killed any and everything, including each other.

When the Almighty pronounced his final judgment, he condemns the Nephilim to watch their children die and be powerless to do anything about it. They loved their children and bored for them to have long lives and eternal spirits.

The pronouncement of their doom was that their children would live and not die, acting as demons in the physical world. A curse of the doom left them always hungry and thirsty, but can do nothing about it.

It is the spirits of the Nephilim who act in the world today as "demons". They also are "elohim" spiritual beings.
God's judgment of the Watchers was significantly worse than what they expected. The Almighty basically said "You shat the bed, and you are stuck therein." And that they would die like men.

Still, the Almighty was determined to save the souls of mankind. He saw their beauty and had pity. There was only one problem. His perfection means they can't be in his presence. It just doesn't work that way.

Why did he care or live us?

What humanity lacked in moral skills, they also lacked in attention span.

And they double down.
Everything. Every hand.
Not the brightest bulbs in the box.

The Watchers did not know of the final plan of the Almighty, nor could they conceive the grandeur of its theme. Together, they unknowingly created their own doom by their decision to thwart the presence of the Almighty.
Humans continued in their sins. The Nephilim were abusive rulers in great kingdoms they set up around the world. Everyone spoke the same language and there was even more learning and science than we have today; but completely different.
The Watchers were now the great God-kings remembered today, being but a few of who once existed.
They conspired and dedicated themselves together at Babel to build a great Tower that reached heaven. They would then overtake all of heaven to rule creation.
Watching with great alarm, Michael and other angels went before the Almighty and explained the plot if the Watchers to overtake heaven and overthrow the Creator. Furthermore, most of the humans were now worshipping and honoring the Watchers instead of the Almighty.
Semyaza and his followers didn't understand that the world had been fundamentally changed after the last corruption. It was not possible to do.
The next morning, each man at Babel awoke with a longing despair in his heart, each for a different place. And no one wanted the same thing anymore. They could no longer agree on even simple things. The Watchers were divided also at this time. The Almighty came into the Heavenly Council and revealed that he was leaving humanity into the exclusive hands of the Watchers, save one - Abram of Ur. He and his descendants were reserved by the Almighty as his exclusive inheritance. The other nations were divided among the other elohim to rule on behalf of the Almighty.
Among the people, society was broken. Politics were broken. Families & friends were broken. The world was breaking down.
No one spoke the same language or wanted the same things anymore. Each followed his own heart and similar minded groups eventually left the others behind in search of a different kind of lifestyle. Doing so spread the seeds of civilization wherever they went; the end of what is called hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Civilizations rose and fell  Great societies were built and learning was common everywhere. And the men looked around and said "Look what we have done. We are like gods ourselves and should take our place as rulers."

In doing so, they mimicked the very same words whispered into their ears by the demon spirits and false gods of the Nephilim who were bent on destroying humanity. Wherever they went on the face of the earth, it was left scared and mangled in those last years of their civilization; before the Switch.

The Switch is what changed everything.
